Avalon – California Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 (Sonoma)

The second night did not change my opinion much of the Avalon.  It is a good wine for the price and very drinkable.  For people that like the middle of the road boldness this is a great wine for them.  It is something that I would serve in my house to a group but not to a small group that are well into wines.  I will make a note to try the same vintage next year and see if laying it down will make a difference.  Look for this in June ’10.

Remember that life is too short for bad wine or bad friends.
